Destination Door County Rebrand

In an ever changing world, travel destinations are challenged with making sure they are presenting themselves in a way that connects with visitors and residents on a personal level while maintaining who they are as a destination. This opportunity allowed us to work directly with the team at Door County Visitor Bureau to work through not only a name change, but a new, fresh and focused identity. The first step was embracing Destination Door County as the new name for the organization which allows for the team behind the scenes to really focus on Door County as a place that anyone would like to live, work and travel to.

The identity development process was a simple one – we know who we are as a destination, let’s make sure the new look and feel represents us now and in the future. Knowing how the brand would be used (OOH, print, digital, video) we approached the redesign with all of those functions in mind. Making sure that where we landed would be strong on any medium and overall easy to work with. The refreshed identity gives a subtle nod to water which is one of Door County’s biggest assets in addition to colors that help support the brand’s new name.

We anticipate this new identity to live on for years to come and help support the organizations mission which includes inspiring travel that drives community enhancement.
