The Rules

Trimnastics 3.0 consists of two teams (B+L) battling it out by working out. Team scores will be tallied on the Gathering Area chalkboard by name. You're rewarded a single point per workout (limit one per day).

A "workout" consists of two elements:

1. The intent to exercise.
2. Doing at least 30 minutes of exercise.

(Exercises include: Running, Powerwalking, Spinning, Cycling, Swimming, Weights, Elliptical, Yoga, Cross Training, Hiking, Rowing, Cc Skiing, Rock Climbing, Inline Skating)

Each of your workouts count as 1 point. Points will be tallied at end of each QUARTER (Apr 1, Jul 1, Oct 1, Jan 1). After each workout, mark the board in the kitchen. Please mark weekend workouts on Monday morning.

At the end of each quarter, each of the winning team members will be rewarded with a FREE piece of B+L gear. The gear will also be available to purchase by members of the losing team.

Events such as a 5k Run, Ride for the Arts, marathon, triathlon, BONUS points apply:

1 point for each mile RUN.
2 points for each MUD RUN mile.
1 point for every 5 miles BIKED.
6 points for each mile SWAM.

These must be actual events that you are registered for.

And please consider our tried and true beliefs of the "spirit of exercise." Say, you're bowling with friends - maybe you break a sweat. Could this be considered a workout? The spirit of exercise would say no.

A good rule of thumb: If you set out to "get exercise," and exercise for 30 minutes, it counts. If you go out to have a date, good time or dance, it probably doesn't count. It's what we all would consider respect for the spirit of exercise.

Let's have fun, embrace each other's efforts and remember to hashtag #trimnastics when sharing socially.

On the 1st of each month, members of the winning team will receive a small prize. At the end of the year, members of the winning team for the year will receive a large prize.
